SkySwitch Launches Loyalty Program to Foster Partner Relationships

SkySwitch Launches Loyalty Program to Foster Partner Relationships

By Erik Linask

When I spoke with SkySwitch President Eric Hernaez last year at the company’s user conference, Vectors, in Orlando, one of the things that stood out to me was his unwavering focus SkySwitch’s partner community.

Hernaez acknowledged the number of large, nationwide UCaaS providers out there, and that one of the things SkySwitch has to consider is its partners have to be able to compete with them and be able to compete with them at the product level.  But it goes beyond simply finding the right solutions – it’s also about finding the best ways to integrate them in the SkySwitch platform to make it easier for MSPs, interconnects, and other partners to succeed.

Especially now, with so many businesses being forced to redefine how they work and adopt new technology strategies as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the opportunity to UCaaS providers is tremendous.  One of the advantages SkySwitch partners have, in addition to a carefully collected suite of solutions to help SMBs grow, is most of them have a local presence that really allows them to build strong relationships with customers.  It’s not about signing up for the service through an online portal.  Rather, Hernaez says the ability to go into local businesses, meet with team members – from owners to secretaries – to understand how they work helps deliver the right customized solutions.

As an additional bonus – and to incentivize purchases through its SkySwitch Store, SkySwitch last week launched a new Rewards Program – it’s version of the kind of loyalty program used by many consumer brands.  With each purchase through the online portal, resellers can earn points, which can be converted into credits to their accounts.

It’s the next piece in the creation of an online purchasing experience that is geared squarely at the partner community.  In addition to auto-provisioning and in-house support, MSPs and resellers can now enjoy cost savings on their online SkySwitch transactions.

The rewards redemption process is seamless to resellers doesn’t require registration.  All eligible purchases qualify for instant rewards points, which are applied as a credit at the point of sale.   Resellers also receive credit for end-user purchases through the white-label version of the SkySwitch Store.

Growth opportunities for MSPs is the singular focus of MSP Expo, part of the TechSuperShow.  Coming to the brand new Miami Beach Convention Center, June 22-25, 2021 along with ITEXPO and the rest of the TechSuperShow events, MSP Expo 2021 will focus not only on solution and product offerings, but will feature marketing, customer acquisition, benchmarking and metrics, compliance, and other key areas of business growth for MSPs.
