Voyant Adds to Usability of its Customer and Partner UCaaS Portals

Voyant Adds to Usability of its Customer and Partner UCaaS Portals

By Erik Linask

As competition for UCaaS subscribers heats up, especially with increasing interest from the enterprise market, providers are going to have to up the ante when it comes to ease of use and functionality.  That doesn’t necessarily mean wholesale changes to platforms and services.  In fact, incremental enhancements are often easier for customers to understand and adopt, creating less confusion and a greater positive impact.

To that end, last month, Voyant announced several enhancements to its user admin and reseller portals, updating each for improved customer experiences.  At that time, Gary Wilson, Voyant Director of UCaaS, said, “During the remainder of 2019, our releases will focus on improving functionality to give our customers better tools for communicating and managing their services.”

Today, Voyant took its next steps, announcing additional enhancements to each portal for increased usability and accessibility for both end users and partners.

For its resellers, MSPs, and other channel partners, Voyant Atlas, its customer lifecycle management portal, simplifies all elements of their customer relationships.  That includes having complete control over branding, ordering, and provisioning, porting, and customer management, all designed to enable faster UCaaS rollout.

Its latest release includes changes to more effectively support partners, including sales order entry updates to expedite service processing, carrier verification to ensure ease and accuracy with DID swaps, and important email delivery status visibility.

For end customers, Voyant’s customer admin portal allows management of essentially all aspects of customers’ PBXs, including full support for Poly devices and Voyant’s mobile and desktop clients.  Its most recent release adds features to support enterprise IT teams, like bulk user creation updates, to simplify management.  The enhanced ability to configure hunt groups and call centers lifts restrictions and allows increased flexibility to create, add and search users, as well as reassign, handle multiple users and manage numbers for call center queues.

“This UCaaS release displays our commitment to provide expanded functionality for an improved collaboration experience by giving customers better tools for communicating and managing their services,”  says Wilson.  “We’ll continue this development path for the remainder of 2019, making additional strides by increasing teamwork, reach, responsiveness and productivity.”

The demand for new services and capabilities, as well as the imperative for simplicity, will be among the conversation topics at ITEXPO 2020 and MSP Expo 2020, taking place in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, February 12-14, 2020.  Part of the TechSuperShow, ITEXPO and its collocated events have educated decision makers on the latest tech trends and how to leverage those trends to build their own businesses.  Voyant will be exhibiting in booth #107.
