Yealink Gives Mia Distribution the Gold

Unified communications solution provider Yealink has once again named Mia Distribution a Gold distribution partner. This is the third year in a row Mia Distribution has earned this distinction.

The distributor grew its channel by 51 percent. That’s 9 percent more than required to attain gold status.

Additionally, Mia Distribution increased its investment in certification and training. It has certified and trained its sales team on all Yealink endpoints. Now they can train Mia Distribution partners too. And Mia Distribution has three certified engineers trained on all Yealink backend support and provisioning protocols for both voice and video.

The certifications and training help Mia Distribution and its channel partners support Yealink solutions – include the T4S series, the T5 series and second-generation audio and video conferencing devices – on major carrier platforms such including BroadSoft and Microsoft.

Mia Distribution also is expanding its Yealink portfolio in Australia and New Zealand. As a result, it will include Yealink conferencing and IP handset solutions.

Mia Distribution is one of just three distributors worldwide with access to Yealink’s entire portfolio.

Yealink offers a wide array of products. Its T5 series line includes the Android 5.1.1-based SIP-T58V. The company describes it as “a simple-to-use smart media phone that provides an enriched HD audio and video calling experience for business professionals.” It has a seven-inch touchscreen, a removable two-megapixel HD camera, on-board Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0+ EDR, various native applications, and the ability to support third-party applications.

Earlier this month, Yealink announced T56A and T58A media phones and the CP960 conference phone for Teams.
