Digital technology is now an essential part of how a business operates, and while a full IT department is not necessary for every organization, managing many of the different technologies can be overwhelming. To better focus on their core business, companies are turning over the duties of managing their IT and end-user systems to managed service providers (MSPs). As the number of digital products and services continue to increase and get more complicated, the value of MSPs is increasing in the marketplace. The Everest Group’s PEAK Matrix Assessment of Global Managed Service Providers looks to identify the best companies in the world to give customers more insight into the MSP segment.
After evaluating 19 global MSP providers and more than 500 MSP deals for market success and delivery capability, Everest Group named Allegis Global Solutions (AGS) both a Leader and Star Performer for the second consecutive year. The firm rates companies as Leaders, Major Contenders or Aspirants.
“Allegis Global Solutions has strong global coverage with specialized offerings catering to all buyer segments. Its investment in analytics and talent acquisition technology has served it well in offering different types of talent acquisition services to its clients,” said Everest Group Practice Director Arkadev Basak.
In addition to being designated a Leader, which is the report's highest title, AGS was also named Star Performer, which identifies the provider that demonstrated the strongest relative year-on-year movement on the PEAK Matrix, and AGS beat the 19 service providers with the highest rating in market success.
“To have been rated a global MSP Leader and Star Performer for the second year running is a testament to our belief in innovation, investment in technology, and undying commitment to excellent service. We’re very proud of this recognition and look forward to continued growth in 2017,” said Steve Schumacher, senior vice president of MSP at AGS.
The Everest Group reached this conclusion by recognizing AGS' strength across different performance capabilities, including the experience it has serving large market clients of more than 60 percent of its MSP client base, management of deals in multiple countries and continents with a strong presence in the Asia-Pacific region, and investment in new technologies, such as Talent Tech Labs, a talent acquisition technology incubator.
The report also stated AGS had a unique ability to provide end-to-end SoW (services procurement) management services along with predictive analytics around workforce optimization and labor workforce analytics. Additionally, AGS also launched SIGMA MSP and AGS’s MSP in 2016, solutions which have been designed to address SMBs.
