Comings & Goings: Broadview Networks Promotes Dickson to VP of Channel Sales

By Casey Houser

Broadview Networks, a company known for its communications and information technology services, recently announced that it has promoted one of its own to lead relationship development with channel partners in the Western and Central regions of the U.S.

David Dickson will take the position of vice president of channel sales for the Western and Central regions and will work on behalf of the company to expand its reach for agent sales. He has been with the company for many years—since 2000—and has handled account management and direct sales teams for a number of company channels. This gives him the expertise needed to hit the ground running as a successful vice president. He provided a comment on his promotion and the sales techniques he hopes will translate to success across the nation.

“I am excited to have been given the opportunity to expand Broadview’s reach,” Dickson said. “I have seen first-hand how our unique technology and world-class customer experience can make a positive impact on organizations, and I am confident that the same techniques we used to rapidly grow our cloud business in New York will benefit organizations across the U.S.”

Recent partnerships with companies such as TCG Partners, a telecom master agency, and DATAK, a communications company in Washington state, show the direction in which Broadview is headed. It is reaching into a variety of markets and solidifying its presence in a number of geographical regions.

Dickson will not be alone in his venture. He will report directly to Donna Wenk, Broadview's senior vice president of alternate channels, who called him an “all-star” and insisted that he would make a positive addition to the company and its direct sales teams. Still, he will have a lot on his shoulders as Broadview attempts to reach into new regions and make itself a household name in the world of IT services.
