Zetta.net Streamlines Administrative Processes for MSP Customers with ConnectWise Integration

By Laura Stotler

MSPs using the ConnectWise platform and Zetta.net’s cloud backup and disaster recovery solution will now be able to view customer data usage as well as billing, alerts and more through ConnectWise. The companies have completed integration of their solutions, making it easier for MSPs and other service providers to streamline administration and management of their customers’ networks.

Zetta.net initiated the integration with the hugely popular ConnectWise platform as a way to deliver added value to its customers through a unified backup management and automated billing platform. Advantages for MSP customers include the ability to proactively manage backup and restore status of clients’ backup environments as well as quickly extract alerts and automatically open a trouble ticket.

MSPs can also use the integration to link customer account usage and facilitate automated billing, while Zetta.net continuously provides file, database and server image backup environments for both physical and virtual environments. The integrated offering provides built-in WAN acceleration along with data transfer rates of up to five TB in 24 hours.

"With Zetta.net's cloud backup and DR solution, we know our clients' data is available anytime, anywhere," said Peter Cronin of MSP Biff Duncan Associates, Inc. "Zetta's integration with ConnectWise will give us a more integrated picture of our clients' backup and recovery status and automate common tasks so we can focus on better servicing our clients."

"We continue to drive simplicity and efficiency into our solution to help MSPs build a more profitable backup service," said Art Ledbetter, Director of Channels at Zetta.net. "The integration with ConnectWise enables MSPs to eliminate manual business processes and enhance visibility into their clients' backup activities to effectively manage their business."

The ConnectWise integration follows Zetta.net’s announcement last month of its DataProtect 4.5 cloud backup and DR solution. The updated offering is delivered via SaaS and provides complete cloud backup and DR directly to the cloud, without the need for an appliance or local staging drive. This lets users make full server image backups as well as file and database backups through the cloud.
