CenturyLink Launches Private Cloud Services Across Global Data Centers

Enterprises are adopting cloud technology because it delivers the flexibility and scalability that on-premises infrastructure is not able to provide, with quicker deployments and better price points. Security is still a concern, but hybrid cloud solutions allows public and private services so organizations can protects their resources while delivering accessibility. Sourcing the service from one provider is the ideal solution, and CenturyLink has launched a private cloud service with many of the requirements enterprises demand.

The new CenturyLink Private Cloud gives organizations the same flexibility and innovation of public cloud, but it provides enterprise grade security standards, dedicated hardware and physical isolation.

Federated into the CenturyLink Cloud network of public cloud nodes, each private cloud instance gives users a single interface to manage a hybrid environment that spans public and private clouds. This gives organizations of all sizes the capability to handle a wide range of workloads across different industries such as health and finance, which require additional security and compliance.

With 55 locations in seven countries around the world, CenturyLink has the infrastructure to deliver geographic flexibility enterprises require to ensure business continuity with a rigorous SLA and multiple redundant failsafe backup systems that are essential in today's 24/7/365 business environment.
