Connecticut MSP Digital BackOffice has teamed up with Broadview Networks to offer cloud-based VoIP services to area organizations. The partnership will enable CT businesses, schools and municipalities to integrate their existing data network infrastructure with Broadview’s OfficeSuite cloud-based business phone system.
By adding OfficeSuite to its portfolio of services, Digital BackOffice has greatly
expanded its capabilities and offerings to better serve its customers’ needs without requiring them to make upfront capital investments in equipment or maintenance contracts. The cloud-based solution is comprised of an IP-based phone system, unlimited nationwide calling services and a website for accessing updates.
Features of the Broadview offering include easy call forwarding and redirection to other offices or mobile phones through the website as well as the ability for employees to use any phone, at any location while retaining their own extensions and preferences. It is also accessible from laptops via a softphone application, along with smartphones and tablets through iOS and Android apps. Voicemails are accessible through the OfficeSuite phone or remotely via other phones, the website, or by email.
“Digital BackOffice's network provides the service level guarantee necessary to keep you connected every hour of every day,” said Dale Bruckhart, vice president of Digital BackOffice. “Combining our in-state network with Broadview's industry-leading cloud phone system creates a very powerful solution. We look forward to working together to help Connecticut municipalities reach their goals and to function at their highest potentials.”
Like most MSPs, Digital BackOffice has been building up a solid portfolio of cloud services to meet the needs of clients who are looking to migrate some or all of their services and infrastructure to the cloud. The company offers Hosted Exchange, content management, NetWatch, offsite storage and managed Optical Ethernet, among other services. They also maintain a data and network operations center offering 24x7 coverage and support.
The company is seeking to target municipalities and schools with the new cloud-based VoIP solution, and Broadview has plenty of experience in that sector. The company already works with NJEDge.Net, a technology consortium of academic and research institutions. And OfficeSuite and other services are available through the FCC’s E-Rate program, offering discounted technology services to schools and libraries.
