Datapipe Recognized as One of the 50 Fastest Growing Companies in NJ

By Laura Stotler

Managed services and infrastructure provider Datapipe has been named one of the 50 fastest growing companies in New Jersey. The company was awarded for growing to at least $500,000 and for achieving revenue growth during the three-year period between fiscal year 2010 and 2012.

Datapipe was named in the NJBIZ 50 Fastest Growing Companies program. The company has had a busy year, working to expand globally as well as acquiring Newvem, a cloud optimization startup firm. That move was in support of Datapipe’s managed service offering for Amazon Web Services (AWS).

The acquisition, which was finalized last month, integrates a cloud optimization platform with the company’s managed IT services to create a comprehensive cloud offering. The solution is designed to enable enterprises to deploy, govern, analyze, optimize and manage workloads on the AWS cloud in line with their specific business requirements.

Datapipe also recently expanded its reach in Asia by opening new data center facilities and business offices in Singapore. The company’s Datapipe Asia initiative has been available since 2005, with the goal of reaching mainland China through data center facilities in Shanghai. The Singapore presence offers clients access to three strategic locations in the Asia-Pacific area.

Managed cloud services available include the Stratosphere High Performance Compute Cloud and the Managed AWS and AWS Direct Connect offerings for hybrid cloud solutions. The company also opened a second data center facility in Ashburn, Va. this year and launched the Stratosphere solution in Iceland.

Among other achievements this year, Datapipe was awarded the TMC Labs Innovation Award for Stratosphere and was also recognized in Gartner’s 2013 Magic Quadrant for Managed Hosting.
