Even though you may be in the Professional Services market, that doesn’t mean you don’t need services yourself. ProviDyn believes Professional Services companies could benefit just as much from managed services as any other outfit.
That’s why ProviDyn, which aims its support, services and strategy wares at SMBs, now has managed services for the professional services market. This joins the recently announced service devoted to non-profits.
“For professional services firms, business is a never-ending cycle of intense meetings and mountains of documents, leaving no room for errors or downtime. Through its years of experience in working with these firms, ProviDyn understands that they have several needs that are different from those of other small and mid-sized businesses and created an offering to help,” the company said.

The service includes document management, document imaging, and case, engagement and project management.
The services also leverage ProviDyn’s file share and sync technology to let professional services folks get at their files from wherever they are and at the same time share them with co-workers.
This same technology lets clients keep important files secure and confidential. And they are backed up in an off-site data center so they won’t be lost.
This style of backup is also important to meet compliance regulations.
“For professional services firms, budgeting for IT systems and managing them is difficult because their IT needs are based on the size and nature of their client base, which is unpredictable and constantly changing,” said Hamish Davidson, president and CEO of ProviDyn. “We have a great deal of experience in helping meet this challenge and also know that professional services firms especially, require reliable technology that won’t detract from serving and keeping their clients happy.”
ProviDyn Sync
The file and sync features come by way of ProviDyn Sync, a cloud file storage system, one that can be accessed from nearly any modern computing device and from anywhere with Web access.
This is a step above the SkyDrives and Gdrives as there is a higher level of security and function.
“Collaboration is increasingly important in today’s mobile workforce, along with accessing and syncing documents between devices such as laptops, desktops, tablets and smartphones. While there are consumer cloud products available, they are hosted publicly, meaning that everyone shares the same encryption key, which can be a big problem for a business,” the company said. “If that encryption key is compromised, all of businesses’ documents, their clients’ documents and any of the user’s personal documents are vulnerable. With ProviDyn Sync, clients are provided with an encryption key that is exclusive to their business and documents, and not shared with anyone.”
