MSP Touts 76 Percent Yearly Growth, Hops on ServiceNow Bandwagon

Business has apparently been very, very good for Virteva, which claims its managed services grew 76 percent over the last 12 months because of it. Unfortunately, the company didn’t say what that growth adds up to in actual dollars and cents.

In more concrete news, Virteva is now an MSP for ServiceNow, and already has five customers on that platform. And here Virteva did give numbers – those five customers equal almost exactly 38,000 users.

For ServiceNow, the new partnership is just business as usual. “ServiceNow is committed to working with our managed service provider (MSP) partners in helping companies embrace the cloud to effectively run the business of IT,” said Tom Moore, vice president of service provider sales for ServiceNow.  “With ServiceNow, IT can simplify and consolidate redundant systems into a single system of record, automate manual processes and deliver a consumerized service experience.  Virteva has earned a great reputation in this marketplace, and we are thrilled they have made the commitment to the ServiceNow platform.”

Virteva specializes in IT Service Management (ITSM), and goes after customers that demand around the clock support for their national and global operations. One such customer is North Memorial Health Care.

“The fact that Virteva is a ServiceNow MSP was a key factor in selecting them to deliver Service Desk capabilities,” said Mike Sweet, director of IT infrastructure and chief data security officer at North Memorial Health Care. “Since North Memorial uses ServiceNow, our interaction with incident management and communication will be efficient and easy, and it also shows that Virteva is committed to advancement of the IT-as-a-Service culture which also aligns well with our vision of the future.”

Besides Service Desk, Virteva offers endpoint management services, managed exchange and managed infrastructure, among others.

But ServiceNow is real sweet spot. “Nearly every prospect we speak with understand the value of ServiceNow, and it is rapidly becoming the de facto standard for ITSM platforms,” said Tom Kieffer, CEO of Virteva.
