DMI Featured in First MMS Magic Quadrant Report from Gartner

By Laura Stotler

The first ever Managed Mobility Services (MMS) Magic Quadrant Report from Gartner has been unveiled, and includes Digital Management, Inc. (DMI). The company, a provider of mobile enterprise solutions and services, was positioned in the report based on its "completeness of vision" and "ability to execute."

Gartner's new report features companies that directly deliver organic IT services content to user organizations. The company defines the MMS market as encompassing the IT and process services provided by an external service provider.

The report specifically examines services that are required to plan, procure, provision, activate, manage and support mobile devices, network services and mobile applications. Devices analyzed include smartphones, tablets and point of service (POS) equipment.

DMI's offerings include strategic planning, business case justification and mobile vision planning for customers based on user-centric decision support tools. The company manages more than 500,000 devices for hundreds of customers and is the largest MMS provider to the federal government. DMI also offers smart device provisioning, roll-out, centralized over-the-air mobile device management, mobile store app management and mobile help desk services.

Additional offerings include mobile app and solution development, mobile business intelligence and analytics and mobile security. DMI also meets a number of industry standards, and is CMMI L3 appraised for application development and services.

"With the ever-increasing usage of mobility devices in the corporate environment, the need for IT and process management services is greater today than ever before," said Jay Sunny Bajaj, DMI founder and CEO. "Our end-to-end portfolio of solutions provides our clients with the ability to tap new revenue streams, build customer loyalty and improve employee productivity. DMI is thrilled to be included in the first ever Managed Mobility Services Magic Quadrant from Gartner."
