Managed IT Provider Grade A Invests in Tier 3 Data Center Operator Granite Networks

Canadian managed IT company Grade A has made a strategic investment for an undisclosed amount in Granite Networks out of Ottawa. The company operates a Tier 3 data center that serves the Eastern Ontario region and meets LEED standards as well.

The Granite Networks data center offers a variety of certifications as well as 100 percent redundant mechanical, electrical and networking facilities. The company provides managed and cloud hosting services in addition to flexible colocation solutions. Granite serves both business and government clients in eastern Ontario and western Quebec.

"With more and more clients moving to cloud and high availability Internet solutions, the market demand for Tier 3 data centers has never been greater," said Allan Ghosn, CEO of Grade A. "Granite's Tier 3 Ottawa data center is one of the very best in Canada so this is an excellent strategic fit for Grade A."

Grade A has deployed and managed nearly 6,000 servers for more than 600 clients and has extensive experience with data centers. The company took notice of Granite because of their commitment to customer service and the fact that their Tier 3 data center in Ottawa would mesh well with Grade A's range of managed services.
