Statera Sells Salesforce.com Service to XENEX

By Doug Barney

Statera, Latin for “balance,” helped customer XENEX with a custom Salesforce.com installation, and will maintain the deployment under a continuing agreement.

Client XENEX helps fight infections in healthcare facilities. The company “recently implemented Salesforce.com (SFDC), and required enhancements to drive efficiency and user adoption. In particular, XENEX needed to improve the processes and technical design for inventory tracking and shipping high-value materials to prospects and customers,” Statera explained.

The role of Statera was to improve the Salesforce.com cloud service to boost XENEX’s product delivery, management and asset tracking.

“XENEX sells very high value products and, without exceptional tracking capabilities, these devices can be challenging to manage in the field,” said Duane Dean, CRM director for Statera. “Statera helped XENEX to improve the detailed tracking features in Salesforce.com to ensure that their products are delivered correctly on a timely basis, to guarantee customer satisfaction.”

There was apparently much work to be done, including designing and configuring applications, coming up with requirements, and doing training. “In addition, Statera rewrote a custom object within the Service Cloud and automated a number of features to reduce processing time, and provide a higher level of visibility to critical XENEX assets. XENEX has signed an ongoing Cloud Services Brokerage maintenance agreement for Statera to continue to support SFDC applications for the company,” the company said.

Statera

Statera focuses on moving enterprises to the cloud, with a particular emphasis on collaboration, mobile and CRM.

It also provides custom software programming, consulting, and project management.

The now 12-year-old company was launched after a huge consulting project went well. Founders Carl Fitch and Brad Weydert worked together on a $70 million project for Raymond James Consulting venture. In the course of that work, the pair built a methodology and framework aimed at IT efficiency, and launched Statera to promulgate those ideas.
