Telecom bigwig Bezeq International Ltd. of Israel has chosen a security solution from Arbor Networks, Inc. to protect its network as well as offer managed security services to its customers. The company is implementing both Arbor's Pravail Availability Protection System (APS) and Peakflow SP platform.
Bezeq is using the solutions to protect its own network as well as offer managed security services to customers against availability and distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks. Bezeq is already a member of the Arbor Networks Cloud Signaling Coalition.
Arbor's solutions are geared toward managed service providers (MSPs) as well as enterprises, and provide network security and management. The Pravail solution provides awareness and security intelligence for detecting and mitigating both internal and external threats. On-premise DDoS protection ensures networks and equipment are safe from attacks. The solution also offers automatic security updates and defends against both known and emerging threats.
The Peakflow SP platform is designed specifically for service providers and global enterprises, offering network-wide infrastructure security as well as a traffic-monitoring platform. In addition to providing DDoS protection, the platform gives service providers actionable insight into application management and traffic engineering. It also provides the tools for offering managed security services to customers, a great fit for MSPs.
