Zyrion Traverse Cloud Monitoring Solution Chosen by MSP UTG

Managed service provider (MSP) United Technology Group has selected the Traverse Cloud monitoring software from Zyrion Inc. to manage its clients' services. The company, an Atlanta-based provider of IT solutions, offers consulting along with a variety of scalable technology solutions.

UTG serves mid-sized enterprises and small businesses throughout the country. The MSP provides a broad portfolio of services, including cloud solutions, virtualization, storage, unified communications, secure networking and backup and disaster recovery services.

Zyrion's solution uses ITIL Business Service Management (BSM) technology to monitor both the cloud and IT infrastructure. The software provides correlated, service-oriented views of the entire cloud and network, making it a good fit for MSPs and large enterprises.

"We were adding tools because our existing solutions did not monitor the emerging technologies we were deploying, and we were looking for an alternative that had the ability to consolidate all of our monitoring platforms into one," said Brian Miller, president of UTG.

The company maintains more than 48,000 square feet of data center space and is a one-source provider of data center, cloud computing and managed technical services.
