ITonCloud Selects iseek Communications Data Center for Cloud Services

By Erin Harrison

Australia-based data center provider iseek Communications has selected ITonCloud, an IT services and infrastructure provider, to host the company’s cloud services.

ITonCloud offers managed desktop, disaster recovery, hosted applications and server hosting to customers from small business to enterprise, to government agencies. As such, the company’s customers demand a high level of security for their data and applications, according to Andrew Tucker, CEO of ITonCloud. Iseek’s data center in Gore Hill is in the process of being certified to ISO27001.

“Our customers expect their outsourced IT services to be equal to or better than in-house IT services, so being able to offer high quality, secure management for their mission-critical applications and data is fundamental to what we do,” Tucker said in a statement.

ITonCloud also needed a data center partner that had experience in the communications industry that could support its white label partner model.

“iseek’s team offers a level of expertise and service that exceeded our requirements. The facility itself is a world-class, secure data center that will serve our customers well into the future,” Tucker added. “We also have a very successful white label partner model. We have a number of very customer centric, traditional integration and Microsoft Dynamics resellers who are also selling our current service offerings.”

The acceleration of Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions was driving strong demand for secure, hosting facilities, according to iseek Communications General Manager Hugh Smith.

“We are seeing increasing demand for data center hosting as enterprises look at ways to address IT costs, and keep up with trends in the market,” Smith said. “With industry observers predicting year-on-year global growth of around 14 percent in ‘software as a service’ over the next three years, our enterprise-grade data centers are very well-positioned to provide our customers with the infrastructure they need to grow their business.”
