C7 Data Centers Offers FuseApp Suite of Virtual Colocation Services

By Laura Stotler

C7 Data Centers has announced a new generation of virtual colocation services called FuseApp. The offering gives organizations the ability to remotely manage their IT infrastructure, along with the assurance that their data and systems are located in a secure, redundant and high-performing virtual environment.

C7 specializes in offering colocation services as well as disaster-safe Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) for small to mid-sized businesses. The new FuseApp offering provides a full array of services to meet all aspects of virtual colocation.

Features include virtual appliance templates for fast deployment times, virtual location private suites, hybrid colo-cloud solutions and a library of pre-built cloud servers. The service provider also offers migration planning and setup services for no additional fee to new customers purchasing FuseApp services.

The new offering is housed in special purpose-built, audited data outsourcing facilities operated through C7 Data Centers in Utah. Coincidentally, Utah is ranked the lowest state for potential disasters by FEMA. FuseApp is designed to save businesses money since they don't have to lay out large amounts of capital to upgrade and maintain their own hardware. It also includes low-cost BGP connectivity to give clients high-quality, unlimited data transfer services.

Businesses may also remotely configure and manage infrastructure through the solution without the hassle of vendor lock-in, overages, penalties or downtime.

“We’ve done our research, and we know what it takes to offer businesses a reliable, convenient and affordable alternative,” said Mike Maughan, product manager of FuseApp. “FuseApp is easy to use, scalable, and feels like your own IT environment.”

“We have leveraged our position as a world-class data center outsourcing provider by offering FuseApp, a premium virtual colocation solution,” said Wes Swenson, CEO of C7 Data Centers. “FuseApp is very compelling, and it’s more than just another IaaS cloud product – it’s a true virtual and hybrid colocation solution from which businesses will experience lower costs and increased redundancy.”
