LeaseWeb USA Offers Affordable High-Value Colocation Hosting

By Miguel Leiva-Gomez

LeaseWeb USA, a provider of Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) solutions, announced yesterday that it will be offering high-value, cost-efficient rack space colocation hosting. LeaseWeb will be hosting these servers on its backbone network with Internet exchanges, peering connections, and Tier 1 transit providers.

Colocation has been getting very difficult to sell at an affordable price, as competition within the North American market constantly lowers its prices. Offerings usually consist of generous bandwidth packages that have a large variety of prices, catering to the needs of entrepreneurs and businesses.

LeaseWeb USA's colocation offering is highly competitive, and holds its own against the tide, starting with 4kW high-performance racks priced at $699.

William Schrader, CEO at LeaseWeb USA, said, "In today's economy, price is an important factor for companies to consider when selecting a colocation provider, but in order to ensure the best possible value, service levels become major game-changers. That's why we believe we've come up with a truly unrivalled offer in terms of pricing as well as service level. Our team of expert engineers is on hand to offer remote hands and eyes support for scheduled as well as for emergency purposes."

One of LeaseWeb USA's customers is Spotflux. Its CEO, Chris Naegelin, said, "Our business requires high reliability at an excellent value. LeaseWeb has been an excellent partner and their colocation services are ideally suited to our needs."

Along with its colocation offering, LeaseWeb USA gives individuals newly racked and stacked servers, and one full year of its Remote Hands Service Level Agreement, a high-value service that includes 90 minutes per month of maintenance, discounted hourly rates for engineers, a guaranteed level of response to support, and full 24-hour year-long support.

LeaseWeb USA has built its data center in the U.S. with reliability in mind, with a network uptime of 99.99 percent and more than 3.0 terrabits per second in bandwidth. The first round of colocation offerings started on the first of this month.
