Datto Introduces Comprehensive Integration with Level Platforms

By Jody Ray Bennett

Recently, Level Platforms announced that Datto Inc. has finished a deep product integration of its backup, intelligent business continuity, and disaster recovery solutions with its Managed Workplace remote monitoring and management platform.

Level Platforms continues to solidify Managed Workplace’s position as a single platform for MSPs to manage the entire spectrum of vendor technologies impacting its end customer’s IT experience with this latest integration. To gain a competitive advantage as their channel partners evolve to become managed services providers, simplify reporting, add new features and services to ease the work of MSP partners, automate workflows and deliver an improved end-customer experience, vendors can create their own customized Service Module in Managed Workplace.

This new service module developed independently through the Level Platforms Technology Integration Program by Datto, gives MSPs an integrated view into their end-client’s IT ecosystem, effectively letting  them manage the status, priority, and category of Datto devices and alerts through the Managed workplace dashboard. The Service Module also provides information on smart drive status, backup device configuration, the status of offsite backups, and a remote connection directly to the Datto Console itself.

Austin McChord, CEO of Datto said, “Expanding our relationship with Level Platforms is another milestone in our commitment to working with leading vendors to deliver competitive advantages for our partners. The result of this technology integration is a more customized experience for MSPs that streamlines Datto device management, simplifies business processes and will improve the service levels for end-user customers.”

CTO of Level Platforms Gordon Rielly said, “We are providing MSPs with a truly integrated and customized dashboard to monitor and manage a growing number of third-party vendor products as part of their overall management of an end-clients IT environment. Our collaboration with vendors such as Datto combined with innovative auto-monitoring features within Managed Workplace that ease configuration, speed onboarding and enable new levels, of integration, broaden the capabilities of our MSP platform. Now, our partners are providing more comprehensive monitoring and management, faster response times and improved services levels to help build stronger, long-term relationships with their clients.”
