IT security and information risk management provider Integralis has just been named as one of the top 10 emerging Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs) by Forrester Research.
Of the ten top emerging MSSPs identified by Forrester, Integralis was recognized in the highest category – Leaders – common characteristics of which are “sound technology, strong execution and good to great strategies,” according to Forrester’s January 2013 report, “The Forrester Wave: Emerging Managed Security Service Providers, Q1 2013.”
Integralis was highlighted as having “one of the broadest service portfolios of the emerging MSSPs we evaluated,” and ranked high for adherence to SLAs, SOC operations and employee retention.
The vendor’s ability to reduce complexity and provide great situational awareness separates the Leader from the Strong Performer and the Strong Performer from the Contender, according to Simon Church, CEO of Integralis.
“We are delighted to see what we believe is independent third-party acknowledgement of our commitment to the industry. As the world’s leading pure-play provider of advanced IT Security and Information Risk Management solutions we invest significantly in our MSS offering,” Church said in a statement. “With the backing of NTT our development of our managed services platform and portfolio together with our focus on attracting and retaining the most qualified experts in the industry is clearly positioning us, we feel, as a leader.”
According to a Forrester security survey cited in the report, “21 percent of those surveyed… planned to spend more of their budget with managed security service providers (MSSP) in the coming year…. The numbers show a clear trend, and there’s a growing consensus that outsourcing security is a viable option for many companies.”
NTT Communications is continuing to invest into the growth and expansion of Integralis in tandem with NTT’s R&D Center developed technology, according to Akira Arima, CEO of NTT Communications.
“Together we are building on the company’s skill and expertise to provide seamless information security services as the security arm of NTT Communications,” Arima added. “We will continue to create positive demand in the market, by building on Integralis’ reputation as a trusted security partner helping customers to embed security into the fabric of their organizations.”
