Nexus Achieves Cisco Master Service Provider Certification for its Cloud and Managed Services

Today, the Cisco Master Service Provider Certification, part of the Cisco Cloud and Managed Services Program, is focused on helping partners envision, build, market and sell cloud and managed services with business acceleration services, sales training and the Cisco Cloud Marketplace to address the needs of its customers.

One partner, Nexus IS, Inc. achieved the Cisco Master Service Provider Certification for cloud and managed services - a certification that recognizes Nexus as having the capabilities to deliver cloud and managed services to help accelerate time to market and time to revenue.  In addition, this certification rewards Nexus for its expertise in creating, selling and delivering cloud and managed services with financial incentives in all countries of legal presence.

“This is the latest of three distinct Cisco Master’s Certifications that Nexus now holds,” said Tom Lyon, Nexus vice president of Managed Services, in a statement. “Earning the Cisco Master Service Provider Certification for cloud and managed services shows the commitment and dedication Nexus has in supporting our customers with an enhanced level of expertise that few partners have.”

These days, Nexus uses its experience to enable organizations to collaborate and create. The company achieves this by providing its specialized expertise in end-to-end technology solutions based on six distinct, yet complementary, practices including collaboration, data center, borderless networks, business video and managed services.

As a Cisco Master Service Provider Certified Partner, Nexus will deliver Cisco Powered services (managed and/or cloud services with Cisco Powered services designations), built on the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework, and provide enhanced management to customers.

Nexus partners with Cisco, EMC, Microsoft, NEC and VMware in order to ensure its customers are provided with very competitive solutions. Additionally, the company has helped verticals such as education, retail, hospitality and healthcare to turn unified communication into workflow solutions. 

Lyon continued, “This is a great start to 2013 that further strengthens the existing partnership we have with Cisco.”
