High Point Regional High School Picks Bat Blue Networks Cloud Security

High Point Regional High School in Sussex, New Jersey recently picked Bat Blue Networks’ in-the-cloud Security-as-a-Service, Cloud/Sec.

High Point Regional High School officials sought an enhanced security to protect their student, faculty and administration technology systems, and to set a foundation for next-generation education delivery platforms such as iPads and tablets.

After a rigorous search, the high school picked Bat Blue Networks' in-the-cloud Security-as-a-Service, Cloud/Sec, a cost-effective, next-generation cloud-based security solution that supports all sites, remote users, as well as tablets and mobile devices to support the next generation of education.

"As a school system we are pressed from many angles; increased Internet usage, evolving threats and constantly shrinking budgets. We also wear many hats, so we can't be experts in everything," said Thane Young, technology coordinator. "It's nice to know someone has your back when it comes to security. Bat Blue was able to provide us with an expert and cost-effective solution that greatly enhanced our security and the support is absolutely fantastic."

The deployment of Bat Blue's offering is enabling the school to avail application security, URL filtering, anti-virus and anti-malware, as well as protection from Internet-based threats and attacks without requiring hardware, subscription and implementation costs.

This versatile solution meets with growing needs, utilization and emerging threats, offering single global security policy for all locations, applications, mobile devices, cloud instances, cloud stores and users anywhere in the world.

"The Bat Blue team fully supports High Point Regional High School and is very committed to education," said Babak Pasdar (News - Alert), president and CEO at Bat Blue Networks. "Every day, we see educators fighting ever increasing technology needs, evolving, complex threats and dwindling budgets. How can schools evolve to support media driven technologies? This led us to develop a solution that is an affordable and sustainable alternative to the unsustainable options available to education today."

Headquartered in Clifton, New Jersey, Bat Blue operates six data center locations throughout the country, including New York, Washington D.C., Atlanta, Chicago and Los Angeles.
