ATIVAS Adopts Oracle SPARC SuperCluster T4-4 in Brazil

Recently, ATIVAS, an information technology subsidiary of the Asamar and Cemig Groups, became the first managed service provider in Latin America to provide complete Oracle (News - Alert) enterprise cloud managed services with the help of Oracle SPARC SuperCluster T4-4.

SPARC SuperCluster T4-4 from Oracle allows the quick installation of high-performance applications, the combination of complicated enterprise workloads, and the replacement of aging servers.

While greatly enhancing system performance, utilization, availability and security, it considerably decreases system complexity, project risk and operating costs.

Helping users to accelerate time to resolution, and cater to customers’ service level agreements, ATIVAS will have Oracle as a single point of contact for services and support with Oracle SPARC SuperCluster T4-4.

The SPARC SuperCluster T4-4 will also assist in enabling the quick installation of client hosting solutions, with rapid time to production as a highly combined Oracle engineered system.

Looking to offer multi-tenant cloud hosting of applications and Oracle Database 11gR2 in highly secure, high-availability architecture, the company has chosen SPARC SuperCluster T4-4.

“Oracle SPARC SuperCluster T4-4’s high level of integration and optimization helps greatly reduce the cost and complexity of IT infrastructure, providing higher availability and performance,” said João dos Santos, Sales Director, Systems, Oracle Brazil. “This makes it an ideal solution for companies and large projects that need to consolidate a large number of applications, databases and middleware on a single server. SPARC SuperCluster T4-4 meets these requirements for ATIVAS.”

Recently, Oracle stated that it was assisting companies in achieving sustainable business growth by bringing together Oracle's RightNow CX Cloud Service with Oracle Fusion Sales. This combination enables relevant, cross-channel customer interactions to enhance revenue opportunities and drive organizational efficiencies. The service provides various advantages to the companies, such as increasing customer retention, driving higher levels of customer advocacy and increasing sales conversion, and is a combination of Oracle’s RightNow CX Cloud Service and its Fusion Sales solutions.
