MSP Netmagic Solution to Offer Compuware Gomez APM Solution as Part of Service Portfolio

Netmagic Solutions, an Indian MSP and provider of cloud Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) solutions, has expanded its application performance management (APM) partnership with Compuware (News - Alert) Corporation.

Compuware provides technology performance solutions, and Netmagic will offer its Compuware Gomez APM product to customers.

The Gomez solution uses a pay-as-you-use service model and will complement Netmagic's existing portfolio of managed services offerings. The offering features a comprehensive set of Web and mobile performance metrics that will enable Netmagic to improve the performance and availability of mission-critical applications offered to its hosted client base.

Features include the ability to monitor user performance across the entire application delivery chain, so Netmagic can help enterprises track end-user experience and measure both application performance and baseline performance over time.

The WebSmart service is also part of the solution, designed to help identify application performance problems as well as proactively resolve performance issues.

The Compuware solution is meant to help MSPs offer problem resolution in order to improve customer satisfaction, accelerate time-to-market for new application functionality and reduce application management costs.

This is achieved through analytics as well as advanced APM (News - Alert) automation.

Netmagic will add the offering to its services portfolio, serving more than 1,200 customers throughout the world. The company hosts and manages Web-based client applications, some of which are accessed by millions of end users each day.

"Netmagic aims to provide the most comprehensive suite of business solutions in the application performance space," said Nitin Mishra, VP of product management at Netmagic Solutions. "The majority of business users who are engaged with customers are not equipped with the right solution. By providing a unified view across the entire application delivery chain with Compuware's Gomez, Netmagic will help client organizations stay competitive and help them focus on their core business needs."

"Organizations in India are looking for ways to increase efficiency and improve agility while meeting changing customer needs," said Neeraj Dotel, managing director at Compuware India. "Companies need to understand how customers use their sites to capitalize on every single interaction and application usage. Compuware strives to provide the most inclusive set of technologies to optimize all aspects of application performance."

The partnership was the second major MSP announcement in India today, with MSP Olive Solutions announcing it was using Nimsoft solutions to help national banking chain A.P. Mahesh Co-operative Urban Bank.

The Nimsoft (News - Alert) offerings provide infrastructure monitoring and ITIL-based service management for the bank.
