FrontRange Solutions Debuts the Latest Offering in the Cloud


Recently, the company announced the latest FrontRange Cloud release, consisting of the brand new FrontRange Cloud Discovery and Cloud Mobile for field service technicians.

FrontRange Discovery 9.1 is a product in the line of network inventory and auditing solutions from FrontRange Solutions (News - Alert), which allows organizations to track all IT assets across and beyond the corporate network.

FrontRange Discovery 9.1 has been developed to meet a wide variety of requirements, providing a breadth of auditing abilities across multiple device types, platforms and locations.

Cloud Mobile improves customer field service management engagements and enhances the reach of service desk staff members to the mobile environment. FrontRange Cloud Mobile allows customers to offer rapid service, decrease duplicated efforts, improve decision making and optimally allocate resources.

With the ability to leverage existing applications, pre-packaged solutions and FrontRange Desktop and Server Management (DSM (News - Alert)), FrontRange Cloud platform extends the firm’s integration capabilities.

Customers reportedly improve productivity, enhance total cost of ownership and streamline their applications with an integrated set of data.

Smith, VP and GM of the Cloud Business Unit at FrontRange. “From a single vendor, we not only offer solutions to manage service desk processes and automation, but we also provide a complete view of any IT asset within our Cloud based solutions, or via a hybrid of cloud and on-premises.”

The company also recently launched License Manager 3.3, which adds important functionality with Windows login authentication, improved safety options and expanded analytical capabilities. Important updates of License Manager 3.3 include single sign-on improvements between a user's Windows login and License Manager, and improved security options with user organizational unit reporting restrictions.
