NextPlane Unveils Enhanced NextPlane Federation Cloud Service

NextPlane, Inc. has extended its NextPlane Federation Cloud offering by including XMPP group chat federation. Chat rooms hosted on XMPP-based unified communications (UC) providers like OpenFire can now be included by end users with Microsoft (News - Alert) Office Communicator (MOC) and Lync clients to their contact lists in a simplified manner, eliminating the need for dedicated Microsoft Group Chat servers or clients.

Microsoft users can avail the benefits of the NextPlane Federation Cloud services as a central exchange due to the inclusion of latest features, expanding their reach and associating with other UC platforms for generating mutual business communities.

Apart from participating in chat rooms hosted on XMPP UC platforms, Microsoft OCS and Lync users can analyze chat room history and take part in real-time chat discussions. These users can easily include chat rooms to the MOC or Lync client contact list.

The limitations enforced by members-only rooms are also supported by NextPlane.

"Enabling group chat federation is an important component in building federated communities – a strategy that more and more competitive organizations are adopting with the aid of the NextPlane Federation Cloud service to connect to suppliers, partners and customers in real time,” said Farzin Shahidi, founder and CEO at NextPlane. “For the first time, Microsoft users can participate in XMPP hosted chat rooms."

Associative business communities can be rapidly developed by the NextPlane Federation Cloud service, which does not require any installation and also ensures separate federation to numerous associates. The different types of traffic like IM, presence, voice, video and file transfer can be extraordinarily controlled by NextPlane Federation Cloud service subscribers. They also have the right to permit or reject access to any of these services to their associates.

Organizations can apply NextPlane's unique analytics and reporting tools to gain important insights regarding the manner in which their association with their federated associate community helps strengthen their business.

A trial version of NextPlane Federation Cloud can be availed by eligible organizations for a period of 30 days. The trial version will help them understand the value of the NextPlane Federation Cloud in developing associative business communities.
