New Axceler Partner Advantage Program Announced for MSPs and VARs


More and more service providers are relying on hosted SharePoint and collaboration-managed services as a new source of revenue with strong market potential. Organizations, from SMBs to enterprises, are also seeking a total solution that includes governance for their collaboration and social business platforms.

In an effort to accelerate collaboration and SharePoint governance among enterprises, Axceler – a Woburn, MA-based provider of Microsoft (News - Alert) SharePoint governance, administration and migration solutions – announced the Axceler Partner Advantage Program.

According to Axceler, its Axceler (News - Alert) Partner Advantage Program is a comprehensive training, marketing and support program that helps Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and Value Added Resellers (VARs) to engage in more opportunities by using technology governance tools to become strategic providers with their customers.

Axceler's portfolio includes SharePoint governance and migration tools that facilitate IT organizations to establish rules, protocol, policies, and responsibilities, and also ensures that access and permissions are appropriately assigned.

The new Axceler Partner Advantage Program supports three types of organizations, namely Strategic Service Providers (SSPs), Value Added Resellers and Referral Partners.

According to Axceler, all the partners of the program have access to Axceler Academy, an instructor-led, web-based training and certification program that provides knowledge on how to maximize the benefits of SharePoint administration and governance using ControlPoint, the company’s SharePoint governance tool.

Axceler’s ControlPoint application provides organizations with the ability to tightly control access to information stored and shared on the Microsoft SharePoint collaboration platform.

In addition, the Axceler also provides all the Strategic Service Partner of the Partner Advantage Program access to: Axceler's customer support portal; a customer focused support and service team; sales and marketing enablement; and more.

Additionally, the company’s Strategic Service Partners also receive Dedicated Account Management and Quick Start Sales Program.

In Dedicated Account Management, each SSP is assigned a dedicated account manager and virtual sales team to help pursue and close sales. Serving as an extension of the company’s partners' sales teams, the sales team also assists in any stage of the sales process. The program enables partners to strengthen their relationships with customers and prospects without additional sales overhead and expense.

The Quick Start Sales Program provides SSPs with free product evaluation keys, public relations and social media campaign, joint Webinar, customized sales tools, and a lead nurturing campaign to help fill their pipeline quickly during the first 90 days.

According to the release, Apptix (News - Alert) – a provider of hosted business communication, collaboration, and IT solutions - is the first managed service provider (MSP) to join Axceler's program as a Strategic Service Partner.
