Procyon Solutions Migrates Healthcare Organization to Microsoft Office 365

Microsoft certified solutions provider, Procyon (News - Alert) Solutions, has helped a large healthcare organization with more than 6,000 users migrate to a Microsoft Office 365 cloud solution. Procyon aided the company's shift from using an on-premises Microsoft (News - Alert) Exchange and Office Communication Server (OCS) to the cloud offering.

Procyon is a healthcare IT support specialist that offers consulting and Office 365 migration services across the US. The provider understands the nuances of integrating Microsoft Active Directory Federation Service (ADFS) and Active Directory with Microsoft cloud solutions.

The ADFS service is installed on a Microsoft Windows server and offers users a single username and password for gaining access to systems and applications located throughout an organization. Procyon worked with the Delaware-based healthcare organization to prepare ADFS and Active Directory in order to facilitate the client's IT department's move to cloud services with minimal involvement from the Procyon IT team.

Headquartered in Little Rock, AK, Procyon offers consulting, preparation and migration services for on-premises technologies to aid in the move to Microsoft Office 365 and other cloud services. The demand for this migration is becoming increasingly popular as hospitals, clinics and private practices strive to meet compliance requirements like HIPAA.

Procyon counts itself as one of Microsoft's fastest-growing partners in Arkansas, and is certified in both Microsoft and HP technologies. The provider focuses on core infrastructure, architecture solutions, unified messaging and managed services.

The company recently announced its partnership with Microsoft, along with migration support and training for Microsoft Exchange Online, Microsoft SharePoint Online, Microsoft Lync Online and Microsoft Office 2010. Procyon also recently helped corporations in Chicago move several hundred mailboxes from on premises Exchange servers to full hosted Exchange services online via Microsoft Office 365.

The service provider also offers a number of IT support services including proactive maintenance through a flat fee Fully Managed Network Services Plan. This offering helps reduce customers' costs while also aiding them in increasing profits and mitigating business risks. Procyon also provides managed email security, 24/7 proactive network monitoring, backup and recovery solutions, help desk services, disaster recovery and business continuity planning and website design and development.

“We have always focused on supporting the needs of businesses here in Little Rock with quality IT services," said Lynne Jetton, president of Procyon Solutions. "Our cloud offering and partnership with Microsoft Office 365 rounds out our available IT services. The cloud is safe and secure for Little Rock businesses to use every day.”
