DreamHost Selects RagingWire

RagingWire provides colocation facilities which include the power, connectivity, and 24x7 on site managed support customers need.  RagingWire can help customers with their national data center requirements with more than 600,000 square feet of data center space located on the East and West Coast.  Customers can take advantage of the company’s introductory rates on its 140,000 square foot Ashburn, Virginia facility.

One company that has taken advantage of this offer is DreamHost, a global full-service Web hosting company. The company recently selected RagingWire Data Centers' new Northern Virginia campus known as "The Bolt."

Created for 100 percent availability with 21 megawatts of highly available facility power, this next generation, important facility, allows DreamHost to expand and improve its hosting and cloud services and improve end-to-end network performance specifically for its East Coast and European customers.

“DreamHost offers exceptional hosting products and superior customer service for the individual blogger and Web designer all the way up to enterprise applications," said George Macricostas, RagingWire's chairman, CEO, president, and co-founder, in a company press release. "We share their commitment to enterprise-level reliability and are proud to have been selected as their data center platform in Ashburn, Virginia.”

DreamHost provides advanced systems and customer service to the Web hosting industry. The company administers more than one million website domains including top .com, .org, .net and .info sites. The product portfolio of the company consists of shared hosting, virtual private servers, and dedicated servers along with cloud storage and compute services in beta testing.

Recently, the company announced that on December 9, 2011, the company received $140 million in revolving credit facilities with two banks led by Bank of America, priced at a rate of US$ LIBOR plus 1.75% percent or 2.02 percent all-in. The never ending demand for RagingWire's technologically advanced colocation services has encouraged the company's nationwide expansion to Northern Virginia and the additional focus on wholesale colocation services.
