6fusion and Broadcloud Partner to Expand 6fusion iNode Network Westward

6fusion and Broadcloud have announced a new partnership in which they will add the Broadcloud Las Vegas SSAE 16 SOC 2 certified data center to 6fusion's iNode Network. The new iNode location expands 6fusion's network westward, while also expanding choices for users selecting data center locations from which to deploy their cloud workloads.

A provider of utility-metered public, private and hybrid cloud infrastructure management software and services, 6fusion has put together its iNode Network from third-party data centers. The network provides public and private cloud resources through an on demand, pay-per-use model with all resources consumed measured through 6fusion's Workload Allocation Cube (WAC (News - Alert)) metering algorithm. This provides a commercial standard to quantify supply and demand for compute resources.

The Las Vegas data center from Broadcloud, a provider of managed hosting, security solutions and private IT cloud solutions, joins iNode locations in Toronto, Ontario, Calgary, Alberta, Littleton, MA and Spartanburg, SC. The company offers best-of-breed technologies along with expert personnel to provide reliable and cost-effective services for on-premise, private cloud, public cloud and hybrid deployments.

"6fusion's continued global expansion of building out its iNode Network will only help MSPs and their customers," said Charles Weaver (News - Alert), co-founder and CEO of the MSPAlliance. "Private and hybrid cloud solutions are clearly in demand by customers and MSPs often don't have the time or the resources to build the infrastructure themselves."

According to Brent Eubanks, EVP of strategic services at Broadcloud, 6 fusion's approach to the IaaS model and its WAC metering metric enables Broadcloud to deliver services efficiently from across the global 6fusion ecosystem. "Broadcloud is excited to bring enhanced value, flexibility, and security solutions to the 6fusion iNode Network and looks forward to providing 6fusion customers the world class service that all our customers have come to rely on from Broadcloud around the world," he said.

6fusion Cloud Service Provider Partner Modular Data Protection Services (DPS) is using the Las Vegas iNode to serve its extensive customer base. "The 6fusion iNode Network provides us tremendous flexibility, scalability and global reach, making it an ideal infrastructure platform for the data protection solutions that we deploy to our service provider clients,” said Danny Deganis, co-founder of Modular DPS. "We are pleased to be a part of the continued expansion of the iNode Network and look forward to expanding the range of data protection capabilities we make available through 6fusion."

"Continuing to build out the iNode Network to provide comprehensive national and international geographic coverage by partnering with leading cloud infrastructure partners is a key aspect of 6fusion's strategy," said Rob Bissett, VP of product management and marketing for 6fusion. "We are excited about this new partnership with Broadcloud and look forward to leveraging their infrastructure, security, and networking expertise and broad range of locations to help our customers succeed."
