Dedicated Server Solution Provider RapidSwitch Reports High Customer Satisfaction Levels

RapidSwitch, a provider of self-managed dedicated server solutions, has reported good to excellent satisfaction levels from more than 90 percent of customers. The company, owned by iomart Group plc, is headquartered in Maidenhead, Berkshire, UK.

RapidSwitch offers a 100 percent uptime guarantee and the customer satisfaction levels were largely based on that and on the speed at which its technical teams respond to service calls. Quality of service and pricing were also cited as factors in the favorable scoring.

The company also reported that customer satisfaction was driven by its Maidenhead data center's ISO 27001 and 9001 accreditations. RapidSwitch reports a 93 percent customer satisfaction level overall, with customers describing the company's dedicated hosting services as excellent or good.

In addition to custom dedicated servers, RapidSwitch offers managed server solutions, colocation services and cloud servers. The company also provides IP transit and connectivity services in the UK, specializing in high capacity, low latency and secure bandwidth connections. It is part of a network of five fully owned and managed data centers in the UK as a subsidiary of iomart Group.

The company recently announced the world's first dedicated server environment for Joomla! Joomla Wired reports it has doubled in size during the past year because of highly available and reliable hosting at RapidSwitch's 1,300-square-foot Spectrum House data center in Maidenhead.

RapidSwitch's data center offers components from SuperMicro, Crucial and Seagate (News - Alert) with Tier 1 contracts in place. The company uses Intel CPUs exclusively and all servers are put through vigorous testing procedures and benchmarking to ensure they are up to task before being put into service.

RapidSwitch is working to upgrade its network in preparation for the addition of IPv6 and MPLS services. The company is continuously seeking solutions to represent maximum reliability and performance for every price point. RapidSwitch hosting on custom-built, dedicated servers starts at around $60 per month. The company hosts more than 4,000 servers for a broad range of clients with a staff of more than 20.
