eXelate Selects Internap's Dedicated Hosting Services

Internap’s (News - Alert) global footprint and broad IT infrastructure should allow marketing and data analytics platform provider eXelate to rapidly scale its hosting services at an affordable price and also seamlessly serve its global customer base.

eXelate is already a user of Internap’s colocation and route-optimized IP services and was looking for a hosting solution that could expand its colocated infrastructure and after thorough evaluation it decided to add the VoxSERVER dedicated hosting to the list of services it already avails from Internap.

Internap recently bought Voxel (News - Alert) Holdings, a provider of scalable hosting and cloud services for the enterprise. Internap’s flexible IT Infrastructure platform was significantly enhanced with the addition of Voxel’s dedicated hosting and cloud products and as a result of that acquisition the company was able to provide eXelate with on-demand VoxSERVERs, the dedicated server offering built on top of Voxel’s VoxSTRUCTURE automation platform.

VoxSERVERS supposedly combine the performance, configuration flexibility, customizability and reliability of a dedicated server hosting environment with the provisioning and billing flexibility of a cloud server without the need for users to go through a long, arduous process with high set up fees and an inflexible growth plan.

eXelate acknowledged that the VoxSERVER solution delivers the superior levels of scalability and performance that it has come to rely on with Internap’s colocation and IP services, while allowing it to keep its costs low and more clearly align its IT spend to the consumption of its services in the marketplace.

Internap transformed its colocation, managed hosting, dedicated hosting and cloud services into a true global platform by adding the Voxel’s service locations in Amsterdam and Singapore to it. This global reach is also going to help eXelate cater to the demands of its international client base.

“Bringing the VoxSERVER platform to Europe underscores Internap’s mission to deliver the highest levels of IT Infrastructure platform flexibility to enterprises globally. We are increasingly seeing customers like eXelate that want access to a diverse range of high-performance IT Infrastructure services on a single platform. Internap provides this flexibility today – from public and private cloud to dedicated and managed hosting to colocation and a performance-optimized IP network – at locations spanning three continents,” stated John Freimuth, vice president of Managed Hosting and Cloud Services at Internap, in a press release.
