Colocation and datacenter services provider ScaleMatrix (News - Alert) announced it is adding private cloud hosting and enterprise data security services to the San Diego-based company’s offerings.
As part of its newly launched Channel Partner (News - Alert) Program, organizations have access to the company’s private cloud and data protection services.
Embedded hardware and software manufacturer iEmbed Solutions is among the first to team up with ScaleMatrix to gain access to its private cloud and data security services. As an IT service provider, iEmbed focuses on healthcare and government verticals.
iEmbed is now in a position to leverage ScaleMatrix’s scalable private cloud and CA (News - Alert) ARCserve data protection services to deliver efficiency throughout their specific target demographic, according to Hemant Shah, iEmbed Solutions.
“This partnership brings on diverse solutions to strengthen our service portfolio. iEmbed and ScaleMatrix Private Cloud solutions will allow us to reduce data center expenses and speed up deployment times,” Shah said in a company statement.
The benefits of migrating from on-premise hosting to private cloud deployments has given healthcare, government and other highly competitive industries access to real-time, next generation technology, improving scalability, reducing operating cost, and improving efficiency, according to David Shepard, ScaleMatrix director of channel sales and strategic relations.

Last month, ScaleMatrix said it selected Market Target (News - Alert) to head up its online marketing and communications campaigns.
Market Target will work to create market awareness of Scale Matrix services among the San Diego colocation customers and plans to highlight the company’s facilities and their capability to satisfy demanding needs. One notable feature of Scale is that it is one of the few data centers that emphasize security; the data center has armed security guards and employs biometric security at the cabinet level.
