In an effort to simplify enterprise mobility adoption, Mformation Technologies Inc. (News - Alert) – a provider of mobile device management (MDM) solutions – has unveiled a new Solution Developer Kit (SDK) called the Mformation Enterprise Manager SDK V1.0.
As a provider of MDM technology, Mformation provides a complete lifecycle management solution that enables operators and service provider to manage and secure mobile phones and other connected devices.
The company’s Mformation Service Manager and Mformation Enterprise Manager suites provide solutions for provisioning and configuration, firmware upgrades, smartphone application management, diagnostics, security management, lock and wipe - for operators, managed service providers and enterprises.
The new Mformation Enterprise Manager SDK V1.0 will facilitate Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and Mobile Enterprise Application Platform (MEAP) vendors to more easily integrate mobile device management (MDM) capabilities into their own mobility offerings.
The SDK is designed for MSPs and MEAP vendors seeking to integrate Mformation's enterprise MDM capabilities into an existing MEAP platform or ITSM framework. In other words, the SDK will enable them to more efficiently and effectively integrate the advanced MDM capabilities of Mformation Enterprise Manager into their mobility offerings.
Offering an exhaustive library of enterprise MDM APIs, the Mformation Enterprise Manager SDK V1.0 supports documentation, sample use-cases, WSDLs and SOAP integration layers. Currently, Mformation’s APIs have been utilized in multiple integration efforts worldwide.
The Mformation Enterprise Manager allows enterprises to not only manage mobile devices across all key device platforms, including Android (News - Alert), iOS, Windows and Windows Phone, but also allows them to provision and configure employee data devices remotely, over the air.
In addition, the Mformation Enterprise Manager also enables enterprises to: tailor policies to fit organizational roles and responsibilities; create and enforce corporate and IT policies, from password policies to employee usage of corporate applications; maintain an inventory of all deployed devices and applications, together with their status and related configuration information; and more.
Providing the capability to remotely diagnose device and service problems on employee devices in real time, the Mformation Enterprise Manager also enables enterprises to set up enterprise app stores to distribute, manage and update mobile applications and services to devices over the air.
Furthermore, the Mformation Enterprise Manager also enables enterprises to secure mobile devices and the data stored on them or on removable storage media with Mformation's patented lock and wipe technology.

In recent news, Echoworx (News - Alert) - a provider of managed encryption services for complete enterprise e-mail and data protection across all platforms and devices - has formed a reseller partnership with Mformation.
