Hosted Services Based on Oracle SaaS for ISVs Offered by Connectria

Connectria (News - Alert) Hosting is a global managed hosting company. The company recently announced that it will offer its independent software vendor (ISV) customers access to Oracle software through Oracle's SaaS (News - Alert) for ISVs model.

The company will make this offer available on a monthly basis as this model will allows ISVs to make use of the Oracle software on a monthly basis on the condition that they are delivering an application in a one-to-many hosted commercial deployment. ISVs will now be able to deploy and manage a hosted SaaS solution at an reasonable price points and not have to part with any upfront license investment as Connectria’s hosting fees are based upon a fixed monthly cost,

In a release, Rich Waidmann, Connectria president and CEO said that, “Oracle's (News - Alert) product offerings remove barriers for ISVs to enter and flourish in the SaaS market segment, delivering enterprise grade security, scalability and reliability to their customers. Oracle's SaaS for ISVs program makes it easier for Connectria to provide a hosted option at a relatively low cost. The ISV benefits from predictable, fixed monthly pricing and they're able to focus upon developing and marketing SaaS software, not running servers.”

Connectria is a Gold level member of Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN) and has extensive experience hosting Oracle Database and Oracle Real Application Clusters, Oracle Solaris, Oracle WebLogic Server and Oracle Applications. Currently, there are a number of ISV organizations are already experiencing the benefits of hosting their SaaS solutions in Connectria's 24/7 world class data centers.

The Oracle SaaS for ISVs model is suitable for both for those seeking to strengthen their existing SaaS offerings as well as for those ISVs transitioning to SaaS. The model will also help ISVs to scale their software license investments while mitigating risk and providing flexibility for their customers.
