Amplistor Connector Helps Panzura Expand its Cloud Storage Ecosystem

In order to tackle the growing need of enterprise customers who need seamless collaboration on file-based content at multiple sites, Panzura has entered into a partnership with Amplidata and added the AmpliStor cloud connector to the Panzura cloud ecosystem.

This arrangement will create a powerful solution for those who are in need of cloud-based file storage and will help Panzura, a provider of file storage optimization solutions, to significantly expand its cloud ecosystem. Enterprises can now leverage AmpliStor's robust, multi- petabyte scale storage system

According to Wim De Wispelaere, CEO, Amplidata, the unique object storage technology that the company has developed enables “petabyte - scale storage and beyond with the highest levels of durability and the lowest operating costs for our customers."

Panzura's comprehensive public and cloud storage solution for globally-distributed enterprises will now offer seamless file storage in a secure environment and in a cost -effective manner and enable   dramatically improved storage performance across the entire infrastructure.

The addition of the Amplistor connector, based on Amplidata's BitSpread technology allows for data integrity. Panzura File system controllers seamlessly manage all aspects of performance across the network.

This solution overcomes, to a great extent, the fundamental conflicts of cost and performance that tend to arise within the company between the administrator and the user.
