Ensim Unveils Unify Cloud Manager for Service Providers

Ensim (News - Alert) Corporation, a provider of technology and solutions to manage and automate private, public, and hybrid cloud infrastructure, announced the release of Ensim Unify Cloud Manager.

Leveraging Ensim Unify Cloud Manager, service providers will gain the functionality of the carrier-grade Ensim Unify platform. Operators can empower resellers and organizations to securely offer cloud services including desktop, server, and application.A centralized platform that manages the creation, activation, configuration, and administration of cloud services, the Ensim Unify Cloud Manager offers multi-tenant enablement, automated provisioning, fine-grain privilege management, and delegated administration.

“In addition to server virtualization, private, public, and hybrid environments must be supported by service providers to remain competitive,” said David Wippich (News - Alert), CEO of Ensim, in a statement. “With many components, tools, and variations available today, service providers need a single platform that enables them to offer a wide variety of industry leading products and services from vendors such as VMware, Citrix, Microsoft (News - Alert), and others.”

“Ensim's comprehensive suite of cloud management solutions allows integration of service provider and enterprise-scale management tools, via a centralized, role-based, easy to use, web management interface,” Wippich added.

SaaS (News - Alert) based cloud applications are typically resold by service providers, but they do not run in the service provider datacenter like other hosted applications. While these types of applications allow service providers to avoid expensive infrastructure and capital investment, they still need to be offered in a secure and effective way.

The virtualization management technology from Ensim enables system administrators to increase service levels and operational efficiencies by automating repetitive provisioning and management tasks and empowering users with policy-based self-service capabilities.

Recently, Ensim, in an effort to expand its presence in Australia and New Zealand, signed a partnership agreement with Australian enterprise solutions software distributor TrackITOnline. Ensim named TrackITOnline as an authorized reseller for its Ensim Unify Enterprise Edition, Ensim Unify Service Provider Edition, and Ensim Unify Managed Edition, to the Australian and New Zealand channel.
